Catgirls are hot outside of anime, too…

What's new, pussycat?

And here’s today’s piece: a review of Black Cat from Hasbro’s 2007 Spider-Man movie classics line. I don’t usually go in for numerical scores here — while I think they can be helpful, people’s tendency to weight things differently leads me to question their ultimate worth — but I decided to try them out with Felicia here. Let me know whether you think I should keep scoring toys or not! And let me know if you think the colors on the table at the end are blinding, though if I decide to keep the scores I’ll probably end up making some unique scoring graphics or something. Maybe crayons… or Crayon Critters. Or Scary Faces, or evil clowns. Who knows…

Anyway, more stuff next time!

First time I’ve ever seen this figure. Looks cool. Almost looks 3 3/4 at first. Wish her hair was more flowing like the old Spider-man Animated line. Good review.

Thanks, Newt! Her hair is among the few changes I like, since it leaves the ball neck completely unrestricted. It really is a great neck joint. 🙂

Saw her, debated her, and ultimately passed on her, primarily because of her small size. I did at one point have that other Black Cat that is pictured there. Wanna talk about “thrusting her chest out” look no further. Man, that version of Felicia was chesty.

Ha ha, that old Black Cat figure is indeed busty! Fairly realistically so, too — a lot of female figures have these grapefruit boobs, but that toy had the more common teardrop shape down.

Perhaps Hasbro made the Spidey figures in this scale to show up Mattel’s JLU line or something.

Reply to Newt!
