Fantastic Four Z Cardz and DPH: Hot Flash #48!

Hey all — couple of new pieces for you this Monday. First, to capitalize on the more/less current film release, we’ve got a review of Fantastic Four Z Cardz! There’s really not a lot to say about these “cardz that turn into 3-D models” (not that that stops us from rambling on a bit, mind you!), but at least now I can say I punched out the Thing! Ha ha! I’m so tough. 😉 And then the article caps off with a quick comic adventure starring the fantastic fruit of my card punchin’ labor. w00t.

And then there’s Dusty Plastic HELL: Hot Flash #48, a guest comic by ST@N! It’s probably the sickest thing on the site, as ST@N’s taken characters from two of the more controversial Hot Flashes — #26 and the Easter edition — and put them in the same room. Now, it’s not all that gory or visually disgusting, but the implications are just… wrong. And again, it’s a guest comic, so if you’re offended, grossed-out, etc. etc. — direct your correspondence to ST@N. 🙂

All for now — catch you next time, folks!

    XD
    Hilarious as always.
The comic is horribly horribly wrong (read: hilarious and I wish I’d thought of such)

Also…I always knew Mr. Fantastic would be happy with his elastic “gift”.
As much as I’d rather not think about it….

    eeeugh….

  • ST@N says:

Yay! My comic, finally! It only took what? 4 months? =X Hehe

  • Molly says:

oh man… paper dolls… I mean action figures. 😉 now those are works of art.

    Heh heh heh…

    Isn’t that wrong… BUT IT’S CUTE!!!! 🙂

    Yai for St@n!

Those Z-cardz are not tied to the movie, they’ve been out for a few years. I don’t mean the brand, I mean the actual Fantasic Four cards, I had them. There are also spider-man, Captain america…. uh… yeah. I go through little phases where I collect all the shit I can for one thing, that week, it was z-cardz. But hey, I’m a kid. Leave me alone.

  • Wes says:

Oh, I didn’t mean to imply that the cards were new or directly tied to the movie — that was just my attempt to relate the review to something more/less current with the mutual Fantastic Four connection. I doubt current merch would be selling for 30 cents!

    Right you are.

Sorry for double-posting(if you don’t like that, bleh), but I can’t believe that your TRU green tag sale is 90% off! My local one had 50%, but changed it to 33%.

  • Wes says:

Yeah, ours is back to 33% now too (it’s been updated, though, so more stuff’s been tagged), but back when I bought those it was 90%. And no problem about the double-posting thing! You don’t have the power to edit your previous comments, so if you’ve got more to say, double-posting is pretty much your only option — and if you’ve got something to add, I certainly wouldn’t want to discourage you from doing so! 🙂

    Wes get’s a thumbs up.
