The absolute strangeness continues…

Aaand I have returned, as promised, with the second installment of The Absolute Strangest Christmas Story Ever Told! I’ve also added some navigational code to the pages so that y’all will be able to pop back and forth and up and down between segments when more get posted, ’cause you’ll need all the help you can get trekking through the insanity. 🙂

Also, short toy comics make their return with Dusty Plastic HELL: Hot Flash #85! With me going through my collection to see what I can keep and what I must sell, there should be a lot more to come in the near future. I’ll probably be hanging onto these, though. This is probably my favorite of the old line yellow-clad April figures (though she may lose her favored spot if Playmates makes a similarly-dressed April figure in the future), and I haven’t been particularly impressed with the new Teen Titans ‘toon figs (admittedly, some do look great, but they’re so tiny). And we can’t do Titans comics without Titans toys, can we?

Anyway, hopefully the Dalek madness will resume at some point this coming week! I’m also thinking about breaking from the 50K-word novel posts to share another short story, but I may do that after the third part. We’ll see. Until then, ja!

  • That segment of the story was a whole lot of nothing. It was wonderful!

I think my favourite bit was when you mentioned that the bum (or fake bum as it were) smelled terrible. Even within randomness that was random.

Anyway, I know this is completely off topic but tonight I discovered the greatest thing ever! LUCHA LIBRE (menican wrestling)! I was flipping through the channels and there it was on Galavision. The best match included, as it’s LEAST strange wrestler, a midget in a Chucky costume! His opponents included “El Zorro” who had two wooden swords, a guy in goth makeup called “Manson”, a guy dressed like tthe Aliens from the movie “Aliens”, a guy with a skull mask with a rainbow mullet wig, a guy dressed only in his wrestling mask and a pair of black briefs with the Batman symbol on his ass and a Yin & Yang on his crotch who kept dancing like a stripper, and someone dressed like some weird psychedelic rainbow alien /dragon/ butterfly creature that I refer to as Lollipop Dragon.

Believe it or not, it gets weirder. The “Lollipop Dragon” as I call him summoned his simular friends, each one a different color, the green one especially strange. AND THEY TURNED ON HIM! It actually included green LD holding back Rainbow LD while Alien guy kicks him in the ‘nads! I had no idea what the hell was going on the whole time but it was one of the COOLEST things I’ve EVER seen on TV!

I think I want to put on a banana costume, move to Mexico, and become a Luchador!

I hope you appreciate me going way off-topic in a post about a story that goes way off-topic.

  • I’m ready for the third part, Wes!
