agustin: Believe me, I'd like nothing better -- but alas, all of my attempts to get my work published have been met with rejection and scorn.

Jax: Glad you approve! I'm actually considering making my own illusion creature of sorts. We'll have to see how it plays out.

Fantastic! My favorite part is the "Pac-Man sky" description--wonderfully apt! And that dragon-illusion is wild! I may make my own. Very diverting, Crayon-san.

I just thought:

you should publish your works, and write strange, scary stories for a living.

You could be the next Stephen King, or at least the next R.L. Stine.

This paper modeling thing is really becoming a phenomenon!

In other news, while everyone else had a "day off", I actually started a new job. I'm a "Dietary Aide" at an old folks home.

Anyway, back on topic, this is my favourite chapter yet! You asked some things about Werewolves that I've wondered myself, and the best part was that you talked about getting back to the story only to go on yet another tangent! You sucha tease!

Okay, further investigation has led me to conclude that the illusion is actually facilitated by monocular vision, as the capacity to percieve the depth of the head cavity ruins the image. With one eye closed -- whether I'm wearing my glasses or not -- the dragons appear to eye me eerily. However, it doesn't work at first if I'm looking directly at them when I close the eye -- it's like the image has to refresh or something for the illusion to take hold. Again, strange! :)
