Re. Spider:
Dear God. That's the biggest spider I've seen yet. There used to be a female spider the size of a shooter marble living outside my window, and even she's ot as big as your spider.

Re. Revoltech:
I've got the figure of Rei Ayanami (#01, I think) and she was about $25, but I saw some fat guy buy Asuka for a bloody *$30* in a local shop. Yuck.
I wish could find the Tetsujin 28 Revoltech, albeit...

2 Comments:
1. I had a ML Wolverine like that way back in wave...3 or 4...when he was released that was a fun explanation..."Uh, see here this arm is a right, and so is this one."

2. I guess I need to head to Target, I haven't seen new ML figures in ages.

To find a variety of Japanese figure and model products, I use Hobby Link Japan (http://www.hlj.com/). They house a lot of figures and little things while keeping the prices fairly low, at least when it's new. As time goes on, the items become more limited in stock and distributors don't carry them any more. Some places have them still stocked and will sell them off at discounted price. Sometimes these prices may make buying from a competitor better than HLJ, especially if the product happens to be a low seller. An alternative to HLJ is Big Bad Toy Store (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/), which is one of the other places where I would order from. Your mileage may vary but in the end, there are a lot of shops around that'll carry something imported from Japan.

To Matt- Speaking of classic 90s cartoon DVDs I got the complete series boxed set of Sat-AM Sonic. That show defined my childhood, and it's still quite good, even through adult eyes.

To Wes- Haiku One-Hundred
I'm looking forward to it.
But, there's more to go.

Looking Forward to haiku #100!

Sixshot- Good review, but where does one get Japanese action figures (I'm interested in finding Evangelion ones)?

Great update, great haikus, great guest article Wes. Like always.

But, holy shit, that spider... what kind of spider is that? The biggest spider we have here in Alberta, Canada is the Crystal Spider, which is quite doclie and was the basis of Charolette from Charolette's Web.

On an unrelated note, have you gotten any of Warner DVD sets of Pinky And The Brain or Animaniacs? I have sets one and two of Animaniacs, and they are of good quality. Perfect if you were a fan of the series. It might give me an idea for submitting a guest in-depth on one of the sets... I'll e-mail you about it first though.

See you next update.
