Cool. It looks like someone responded to my SOS.

Anyway, yeah work today was a real drag. Serving cafeteria-style Turkey dinner at noon-time then serving friggin' spagetti in the evening to a bunch of people who didn't eat it because they were full from eating a damned thanksgiving dinner earlier that day! (We knew damn well there was no point in making spagetti but they made us serve it anyway. What a fucking waste.)

So, what drudgery do they have *you* doing on our once sacred "Turkey Day"?

Ack! I never watch that parade (let alone record it), so I'm afraid I can't offer any assistance there. You might try checking the torrent scene, though!

I feel your pain regarding the working on Thanksgiving, by the way. I'm still at it myself!

HELP! SOS! EMERGENCY SITUATION!!

I had to work on Thanksgiving so I tried to timer-record the parade.
But, when I came home I found out that it didn't record due to a power-outage!

If someone here has a recording of it, please, please help me. It would really save my Thanksgiving if someone, anyone were to send me a copy.

My E-mail is TetsuDeinonychus@hotmail.com

Yeah, I was going to mention mole (which is really pretty good; one of my coworkers at the bookstore served it up on one occasion) in my response to agustinaldo to point out that chicken and chocolate isn't necessarily that strange or unusual a combination. If you try it, let us know what you think! And chicken and peanuts go really well together too -- so well, in fact, that I often put peanut butter on my chicken sandwiches.

Now you've got me thinking about doing a weird experiment involving chicken and peanut butter cups...

OK, I'm intrigued. Though I know about Chicken Mole (a Mexican dish, usually made with chocolate) I've never tried it. I'm much more likely to grab myself some McNuggets and start dipping in choc. syrup, a la the scary sundae. I may try that soon, though my willpower increasingly keeps me away from fast food.
It's not that outrageous; after all, ketchup is mostly sugar and even counts as sugar in nutrition references. Peanut or cashew chicken is a sweet, common Chinese entree. I'll let you know what I think!

How the hell can you eat that disgusting thing and LIKE IT?

Chicken with chocolate is just gross.

The ONLY person that could possibly find it tasty is Shaggy from "Scooby-Doo".

"In the high school dance that took place within The Chicken Finger Sundae Sandwich, the cherries were the wallflower goths."

This is the most beautiful bit of prose I've read all week.

Also, I would have been all over that sandwich when I still ate meat.
