The cactus owns you.
Scary-Crayon is pleased to present this review of one of the finest examples of Japanese cinema we've ever had the pleasure of watching: Naked Blood. Really. We're not being sarcastic here. The movie f'n rules.  (8/23/04)

ARE YOU MAKIN' FUN OF ME???
Friday the 13th is synonymous with horror, so it's only appropriate that Scary-Crayon review a scary movie to mark the occasion. In Campfire Stories, an insane forest ranger spins three terrifying yarns. That suck.  (8/13/04)

The Power Rangers meet the Ninja Turtles!
Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers ruled the 90s, resulting in many arguments about which team was better and what would happen if they met. But they did meet. Now, Scary-Crayon reviews that historic crossover!  (7/06/04)

Madballs: Escape From Orb!
The fun-loving balls with the freakish faces return as Scary-Crayon reviews Madballs: Escape From Orb! Watch as the Madballs cast off the bonds of slavery and take to the stars in search of musical freedom.  (5/31/04)

''The Flame and the Rose''!!!
Scary-Crayon revisits the days when Street Fighter reigned supreme in this review of "The Flame and the Rose". There's not a whole lotta wacky within, but at least you'll get to see SPECIAL MOVES.  (5/07/04)

The Little Mermaid!!!
Clap your hands and rejoice as Scary-Crayon dives under the sea to review The Little Mermaid!!! Not the classic Disney version we all know and love, though. Some other version. It's okay to be afraid.  (4/26/04)

A SADISTIC MIDGET. PH33R!!!
Ugh. Scary-Crayon revisits the horrors of Tromaville in this short review of Blood Sucking Freaks. It's quick and dirty, but be thankful -- a full review would make you vomit all over your pretty clean keyboard.  (4/14/04)

ANIME SHREDDA!!! Ooohh!
At long last, Scary-Crayon reviews the second episode of "Mutant Turtles: Chôjin densetsu hen" in full -- with nearly 6000 words and 150 screencaps. Yep. Might be overkill, but you can't say we skimped on it.  (3/30/04)

''Fo' shizzle, ma nizzle!''
In the mood for something kinda...strange? Well relax with the extra special image-packed in-depth two-part Creepy Freaks Animation Episode Review! Over 6,600 words of pure unbridled lunacy. And yogurt.  (2/21/04)

Bloody hell.
Every once in a while, Maury has an episode topic that isn't "WHO MY BABY DADDY?!?!?" Sometimes his subject matter is even more terrifying. And just this once, Scary-Crayon was there to review it.  (2/3/04)

Yep, those are the Turtles.
I can't even begin to describe this one. A three-part Scary-Crayon review of episode one of the two-episode Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles anime, "Mutant Turtles: Chôjin densetsu hen". It's amazing.  (1/25/04)

Yeah, that's daylight behind her.
Vampires are awesome, but this movie is not. A Scary-Crayon review of one of the absolute worst movies you'll ever see, with or without vampires. But it's a Troma film, so what were you expecting?  (1/25/04)

What is Scary-Crayon? Glad you asked!

Scary-Crayon (dot com) is an internet chronicle of random crap, similar to X-Entertainment, I-Mockery, Encyclopedia Obscura, and Ice Anvil Online, to name a few. There are others, of course (see the links!), because there's a lot of random crap out there, and no one site (or even a handful of sites) could hope to cover all of it. We're just doing our part to help. :)

Scary-Crayon is maintained by Wes (::waves:: personal page coming soon uh, whenever... in the meantime, try reading my blog), with guest pieces from Megami (see Meighan.com, currently hibernating), Jax, and perhaps other contributors in the future. So unless you're replying directly to Megami or Jax regarding one of their pieces -- or you wish to profess your undying love for our sexy guest writers -- all inquiries, comments, criticisms, praises, DONATIONS, and the like regarding Scary-Crayon, etc., should be sent to Wes. C'mon -- don't be shy! Crayons don't bite. At least, normal ones don't...

Anyway, I hope you enjoy Scary-Crayon. Send an e-mail, let us know what you think. And y'all come back now, y'hear? :)
