And now, Scary-Crayon reviews…
Figure: Dogpound || Line: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012 cartoon)
Scale: 5 inch || Accessories: None (back spikes and tail come detached in package)
Manufacturer: Playmates Toys || Year Released: 2012 || Original Price: $8.99
Apparently we do video reviews now on Scary-Crayon, and we’re kicking things off with a look at Dogpound from the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line. It’s kinda long (13:11), but here’s the gist of it: Dogpound is a really fun figure. It’s not without shortcomings — the paint could be better, the figure is far from superarticulated, and Dogpound is WAY smaller compared to other figures in the line than the character appears on the show — but, in my view, the Dogpound’s neat look and retained poseability make the toy a worthy addition to a Turtle fan’s collection. Collectors who would be extremely bothered by the lacking paint and small stature of the figure, however, should definitely leave Dogpound on the pegs.
Anyway, that’s all! Thanks for reading and/or watching, and please leave a comment if you’ve got anything to add about Dogpound, video reviews, etc. And if you want a better look at any of the images used in the review, they’re all included below for viewing at your leisure!

Nice review!
I don’t have any toys from the new show yet, but they’re looking pretty good. Kinda wonder if they have an un-mutated Chris Bradford figure, though. That’s one I’d really like to have.
If not, maybe they’ll eventually come out with a “Mutations” version of him. Then I’d get Bradford and Dog-pound in one figure.

The way you put together the information on your posts is commendable. I would highly recommend this site. You might also want to check my page Webemail24 for some noteworthy inputs about Website Design.
Toy looks more like the Japanese Akita than the toon does.
