When Care Bears Meet Madballs!

And here it is -- a complete summary review of Care Bears Vol. 1, #13. At just over 1MB, the total size of the files on the page is larger than I generally like to have, but I wanted to post it all today on a single page. With multiple pages it's way too tempting for me to break the article up into sections, and we all know how that turns out. I still haven't finished reviewing the QC Dinobots. 😐

Anyway, I've still got at least one more piece planned for tomorrow -- Monday at the latest -- to continue SC's fourth anniversary celebration, so stay tuned!

I truly cannot believe that they actually made a comic match up like this... Ah, the 80s-- what a wacky decade!

After seeing this, I HA/E to see TMNT meets the Archies, just for the pure cheese.

Nice update, Wes. It was, um, an eye-opener. Long live the 80s!

Well, this didn't become as bad as the "Put random people up against Aliens or Predator" ,or as I like to call it, "Crossover Hell". It started out well enough, with Alien fighting Predator, but then they did Batman VS Predator, which kind of didn't make sense, but was still good. Then they went batfuck (no pun intended) insane. How the hell do the Terminator and Judge Dredd fit in? Wouldn't Superman or the JLA against them be a one-page comic? Tarzan?!?

Next thing you know, the Doctor would be facing off against them...at least that makes more sense than Tarzan.

Crap, now I just thought of Madballs and Care Bears fighting Aliens and Predators. Are you happy?!?

does anyone remember Archie vs The Punisher? Yes, it happened.

  • Hero says:

The best crossover I have seen since Murder She Wrote and Magnum PI 😀

Thanks so much for posting this... I've been looking for the comic on eBay with no luck.

Despite having been a little girl in the eighties, I read it for the Madballs, not the Carebears 😉
